The massive presence on the territory of BTS for mobile TV and radio stations (non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation sources, high frequency), power lines, substations and other electrical equipment (non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation sources of low frequency, ELF) generates an electromagnetic field that impacts the buildings even at great distance from its source. |

Moreover, in all domestic environments there are electromagnetic fields:
this is due to the presence of electrical installations and, above
all, to a range of equipment now widely available, such as all appliances,
microwave ovens, computers, transformers for halogen lamps, hair dryer
and so on.
The shielding of a building from electromagnetic fields is required
when the value of the fund is always higher or close to the limits
established by regulations in force: integrating mixed shielding techniques
(eg. Shielding paint for the exterior of the building, shielding fabric
for tents the windows, waterproofing membranes for flat roofs etc..)
adaptable to different situations, are able to significantly reduce
the inside value of the electromagnetic field by making sure the habitability
of the building.
A shielding project involves the following steps:
• study of the evolution of the electromagnetic field values;
• design of the optimal solution for the case;
• implementation of the shield solutions;
• final inspection.
